datadosomething is published by Souryan Augé, a sole trader registered in France under SIREN 524 294 840, whose registered office is at 19 allée des Peupliers, 78114 Magny-les-Hameaux, France.
Souryan Augé is the publication director, in the sense French law gives that term: one named person answers for what this site publishes.
The business is not liable for VAT and charges none — “TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI”.

Hosting
This site and its database run in France, on servers operated by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. ovhcloud.com
The host provides the machines and nothing else: no document converted here is ever written to their disks, because none is ever written to a disk at all. The privacy policy explains what that means in practice.
Intellectual property
This product is published in two halves under two different sets of terms, so “everything here is protected” would be false about the half that is deliberately free:
- The conversion engine and the self-hosted application are free software, released under the Apache-2.0 licence. Anyone may read, run, modify and redistribute them on that licence's terms, commercial use included, without asking anyone. Read the source
- Everything else is reserved: the code of this hosted service, the datadosomething name, the visual design of these pages, and every text and translation on them. None of it may be reproduced or adapted without prior written permission.
- The third-party components this site is built from remain the property of their authors and are used under their own permissive licences.
The split is not a formality. It is what lets someone who would rather not hand their documents to a hosted service run the same engine on their own machine instead.
